Paul Anthony Reynaud, a beloved husband, father and grandfather, was met with open arms in heaven on March 13, 2025, by his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Paul was born on October 8, 1947, to Husley Reynaud and Doreen Reynaud in Alexandria, Louisiana. He grew up in DeQueen, Arkansas and enlisted in the Air Force after high school. After his years of service, he returned home where he met the love of his life, Janet Kaye Reynaud, and the two were married on June 8, 1973. In 1980, he moved the family to Hughes Springs, Texas, where they still remain. Over the years he had many jobs, ranging from a policeman to a long-haul truck driver. He retired in 2024 from a job he enjoyed at LATX where he worked for many years. He enjoyed the time he spent as a Sunday school teacher at First Baptist Church of Hughes Springs, being a devoted husband, loving father and watching his grandkids play sports.
He is preceded in death by his son, Brian Christopher Reynaud; parents, Husley Reynaud and Doreen Reynaud; sisters, Diane Liebert and Valerie Reynaud. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Janet Kaye Reynaud; daughter, Jennifer Golden and his favorite son-in-law, Brandon Golden; grandchildren, Shelby Moore, (Jake Moore) Garrett Golden,(Meagan Golden) Sadie Golden, Kayla Tefteller, (Andy Tefteller), Collan Hays, (Tanah Hays); great grandchildren, Emmett Moore, Wyatt Moore, Lyndon Tefteller, Emberson and Maylynn Hays; sister, Sheila Clark, and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of his life will be held Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at 1:00 with graveside services at Woodlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs.
