LINDEN Kenneth Carlton Lee, 76, of Linden passed away Tuesday, November 13, 2012 in Linden. He was born November 20, 1935 in Marietta, Texas, to Walter ONeal Lee and Lillian Stubbs Lee. Mr. Lee retired from Thiokol Corporation after 38 years of service as a project engineer. He was a longtime member of Linden United Methodist Church where he was a member of the Mens Bible Class and the Mens Choir. Preceding him in death were his parents, a daughter, Lisa Lee Holt and brother, Doyce Lee. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Mary Lee of Linden; a son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Joni Lee of Carthage; three grandsons, Coby Lee of Victoria, Christopher Holt of Palestine and Ryan Holt of Burleson; five granddaughters, Ashley Thomason and husband, Justin, of Dallas, Laura Lee of College Station, Jordan Holt of Palestine, Rachel Cherry of Carthage, and Macy Cherry of College Station; a sister and brother-in-law, Phyllis and Charles Robinett of Mesquite; and a host of friends. Funeral services will be at 10:00am, Friday, November 16, 2012 at Linden United Methodist Church with Rev. James McMillen officiating. Interment will follow in Linden Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis-Schindler Funeral Home in Linden. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
