Services for Emily Baird, 86, of Daingerfield will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday, June 10, 2017 at Daingerfield Church of Christ. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs. There will be a time of visitation from 6:00 until 8:00 Friday evening at the funeral home. 

Ms. Baird was born June 13, 1930 and passed away June 7, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Baird; her parents, Paul Henry and Lydia Ristow; and one brother, Theodore Ristow.

She is survived by three children, Glenn Baird and wife Bettina, Paula Marie Jenkins Warner, and Janis Lynn Satterfield; six grandchildren, Johnna Deann Loggins, Meagan Rae Fitzgerald, Michael Wayne Meadows, John Martin Meadows, Billy Harold Satterfield, Stacy Lynn Terry; nine great-grandchildren; three great great-grandchildren; two brothers, Harold and Walter Ristow; two sisters, Audrey Grant and Shirley Hodson; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the youth program at Daingerfield Church of Christ.

  4. My heartfelt condolences to the Baird Family during this time of mourning. I remember Aunt Emily fondly, as she was always welcoming when we would stay at her and Uncle Harold’s home during the Labor Day weekends. She will be missed.
