Such an awesome man. Was my Supt at Hughes Springs. Rest in peace Mr. Ayers
My memories of Mr. Donald Ayers and the Ayers family date back to the 1970's when Mr. Ayers was kind enough to hire me to teach in Hughes Springs High School where I spent many very good years. He was never one to mince words and he spoke with kindness helping me to continue to be a good addition to the Hughes Springs ISD. He was a good man with a good family and his memory will be full of the life as a school superintendent. I pray that his later years were also full of love and great memories for his family. May he rest in peace.
