Caleb James Taylor, 16, of Linden, Texas passed away May 10, 2019.  Mr. Taylor was born June 27, 2002 in Atlanta, TX to Tim Taylor and Lisa Watson.  Caleb was a Junior at Linden-Kildare High School and loved by all his classmates. 

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, mother, Lisa Watson and David Hale; father, Tim Taylor and wife Sheree; two brothers, Cullen Meggs, Cody Tolleson; three sisters, Kylie Newton, Shelby Ebarb, Maddy Ebarb; grandparents, Jimmy and Paula Watson, Alan and Alicia Taylor, Patty Taylor; great-grandparents, Charley and Abbie Watson, along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends.

He is preceded in death by one brother, Cason Lane Watson; great-grandparents, Jerry and Lynette Sharp and R.C. and Charlotte Taylor.

Services will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at the First Baptist Church in Linden with Bro. John Baxter and Bro. Bryan Baggett officiating.  Burial will follow in the Bear Creek Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden.

There will be a time of visitation from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday evening at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the scholarship fund that has been set up at Texana Bank in Caleb's memory.

  13. I remember whenever I worked at el inca with Lisa sometimes Caleb would come I. And I would greet him by saying ‘hey Freddy ‘ as a joke and he would smile and blush. And tell his name isn’t Freddy every time. Caleb your were a great person. Watch over your momma and little brother . Don’t forget to tell your brother in heaven all the story’s. Lisa stay strong dear you will make it though this. You will for every a place for your family in me heart! Love ya Lisa!

  14. Please accept my sincerest condolences for your loss. Know that just as you long to have Caleb with you again, God also longs for him to live again. (Job 14:15) God promises that through his son Christ Jesus those whom we’ve lost in death will be resurrected and have the opportunity to live forever here on a paradise Earth. Hopefully these promises from the Bible give you comfort in your grief. (Psalms 37:29; Isaiah 33:24; 1Corinthians 15:56, 57; 2 Corinthians 1:3,4)
