  5. Hello, I wanted to stop by though ten years too late. I was saddened to see that Bennie had passed away. In 1991, when I was 16 years old he came to Wylie First Assembly of God church on Wednesday nights while in town. He was operating heavy equipment on a new building being constructed in town at the time. I played piano at the church at that time and we quickly became friends. He was a wonderful pianist, so talented. He taught me a great deal during that time and I greatly appreciate it to this day. I wish I could have seen him again before he passed.

I hope someone from his family sees this and could contact me. I know it’s been a years but I’m sorry for the loss of your husband, father and grandfather.

    Regards
    Bobby Sims
