Jennette Brockway

Kris and Amy genuinely care about what they do. They helped our family so very much with the passing of our mother. Quality people performing at such an elevated level.
Kris and Reeder-Davis were a huge help during a very difficult time. They were compassionate, patient and determined to make our funeral arrangements as comfortable and stress-free as possible. I would recommend them to anyone needing a caring and understanding presence.
Making my Momβs arrangements was one of the hardest things to do. But, Kris, Amy and the rest of the staff were amazing through it all.
I could not have asked for a better group of people to help me during this very rough time.
They are exceptional !!!

The staff here becomes family. They are incredibly supportive and make sure everything is perfect! There is no better place!
When my 52 year old younger sister passed away we couldn't have fathomed the grief her 15 year old would be going through. She wanted to be involved in her mom's service planning Reeder-Davis employees were very patient and listened to her every wish. For that I am most grateful. Thank you for the services you provide our small community...we are blessed to have you as part of our town.

Very kind and compassionate people.
Years ago my parents made the decision that when their time came they wanted Reeder Davis to handle their burial services, So as hard as it is to lose your parents their time to go did come and when it did, We relied on Reeder Davis to help our family through the arrangements that needed to be made and all I can say is their commitment, compassion and their understanding made such a difficult process much easier. Our funeral director Amy, from our first meeting to our last was so kind, She shared in our laughter of funny memories and she shared in our tears seeing our grief. My sister suddenly passed away a month after my dad and again, Kris and Amy were there to help us and we were so grateful. Kris, Thank you for the care you gave to us and for being so kind and thoughtful. I will never forget everything that all of you did for my family .
Reeder handled my father in laws services and did it with so much compassion. We were at a loss with what to do first and Amy was amazing at guiding us. They treated us just like family and we will always be grateful for that.
For such as sad occasion we could not have asked for any better. The facilities were great, the staff very caring. Everyone did everything possible to make this the best experience possible. Even the slideshow had a personal touch that was initiated by the staff. I am so very grateful for the care and services we received.

Kind, caring folks that truly understand the grief you bear, and help you move forward in what is a difficult situation that we all have or will experience.
They took excellent care of both my mother and father. My wife and I have already prearranged our funerals with them. They are the best.

From the time they picked up my wife from the hospital and then through the entire process and even today, they have remained friendly, courteous, and most helpful with all our needs. Working with our insurance, planning the service, providing helpful suggestions, and taking care of tiny details we had not thought Reeder-Davis Funeral Home was wonderful, and Mary was so professional, one of the best. Their care made our loss a little easier to bear. Thank you so much, James Bynum & Family
I just want to thank the staff at Reeder Davis for handling my mothersβs final arrangements beautifully. Kris was extremely compassionate and helpful throughout this untimely and unexpected event. Everything was flawless and exactly how my mother would have wanted her final wishes carried out. Planning a funeral is never easy but it definitely helps when your loved one is in the care of caring and professional hands. Thank you π Shawna

I have never had a bad experience at RD, from making programs for our church or giving advice in whatever way they can.
The McKinney, The McCain, & The Hill Families would like to sincerely thank the staff at Reeder Davis in Hughes Springs for the excellent services they provided to us in the death of our Mama, Dorothy McKinney. Mary went above & beyond in helping us to prepare our Mama for visitation. Amy helped us in each & every need that we had. You could not ask for a kinder man at the cemetery than Wayne. To each person that helped, we appreciate ALL that you did... Thank you, again!
It has the most comfortable feel about it. Everyone treats you like you are family and have so much compassion and empathy . I love Amy & Kris and all of the others also.
Reeder-Davis Funeral Home, Inc. in Linden and Chris were there for me and my family when Keith passed away. Chris is so caring and thoughtful and was able to help me make it through the entire process of caring for Keith and my family until the final burial. He made the journey of death so much easier by his respect for our needs and his compassion for our pain and sorrow. I have known his staff for a long time and they also helped lighten our sorrow by their outpouring of love and compassion. Reeder-Davis also took care of my precious mom when she passed away three years after Keith. I still hug Chris and thank him whenever I can for helping me through losing loved ones.

I went to school with Jennette. She had such a sweet spirit and kind smile. I counted her a friend and a good Christian role mode! I ran into her a couple of years ago in Mt. Pleasant, and got to catch up with her. I hurt for her family, as I know she is loved and missed. Prayers of Peace for you all!
Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this most difficult time.
You are all in our Thoughts and Prayers.
Remembering the family with our deepest sympathy and prayers.God Bless each of you now and always
We send our deepest sympathies. We send prayers for you both.
Our thoughts and prayers are with ya'll at this time.
We grieve with you, but know that we can rejoice with Jennette. We look forward to the day we hear Jennette singing in Heaven. She sang like an angel on earth; how much more beautiful now – singing a new song!
So sorry for your loss, you and your family are in our prayers. May God Bless you.
We share in the sorrow of the passing of your loved one.
Jenntte was such a blessing to me and many others. She will be sorely missed. She is in the best Place now and I can hear her singing with the angelic choir!
Sorry to hear about your daughter Ed and Joyce. Our hearts and thoughts are with you.
We did not have the joy of knowing your daughter in life, but will look forward to meeting her in heaven. Praying for all of you.
I've known Jennette since she was about 22 years old. She has always been such a pleasure to work with and a bright spot in that I knew she trusted in Christ as Savior. While it is unfortunate to see her passing so early in life, we must look at this through God's eyes in that she has gotten her reward. We are still struggling in this world but she is now in bliss with the Savior! Watch for us Jennette! Soon Christ's church is coming home too!
Your many years of supporting children with visual challenges will not be forgotten. These memories are our treaures. You fought the hard fight with grace and determination. With fond thoughts. Nancy
As a fellow teacher of visually impaired I have only known Jeannete for the past 5 years and I can say that she was a very special person to whom I looked up for her vast knowledge and insight and for her bravery in her fight against cancer. I will miss you and God bless you and your family.
I loved the spirit that Jennette had for life and her love of the Lord. She was upbeat with a smile on her face. I work with Division for Blind Services and have worked with her with my kids and families. Sorry for your loss. She is in heaven singing and healthy and we will see her again!! God bless this family through this tough time.
Jerry and I offer our sincerest sympathies for your loss. The angels have a new playmate.
I will miss your kind and gentle soul and your enthusiasm for helping others. Rest in peace and know that you were appreciated and loved.
Jennette will always be a part of my life. She was one of those who encouraged me to become a teacher of the visually impaired. I had the privilege of working with her for several years. She was a dedicated professional and committed Christian. A proud graduate of Oral Roberts University, she was always positive and upbeat. She ran the race, fought the good fight, and now she has received her crown. May her life and memory bring peace to all who knew and loved her.
I miss listening to Jennette singing to my students as she worked with them. Her voice was absolutely beautiful.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Jennette was an inspiration to many. Her memories will be a souce of comfort. My sympathy to her family and friends. Betty Loy,Barnard,Ks.
Ed and Joyce,My sincere sympathy to you. I know you will treasure the memories. Nancy
We were so saddened to hear of the passing of Jennette. What a trouper she was throughout this journey! She can see clearly now and sing with the angels. (Sorry we didn't come to the services. We were in Ohio for a week but lifted you in prayer).
Just wanted you to know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. I have such good memories of being at the veterinary clinic with Jennette, and then of seeing her through the years. She was a wonderfully gifted woman and she used those gifts to help others. She will be greatly missed. With love and prayers for comfort and peace,Leigh Ann
